Maybe a stupid question... Just downloaded the new firmware. Works great! Now I want to organise my 200 books into 2 main classifications: Read and not read then by author. Somebody knows an easy way to gets the filename from the title in fictionwise ??? I bought all my books from fictionwise. and in the description of the book in my "Bookshelf" you have the ISBN mobipocket number which does not necessarily match the filename. So far the only way I have had is to download the book again and note the filename, make a list then organise my folder... There must be an easier way ???? Regards, Georges |

It is not a flaw in the design since it is typographically wrong to place the letter so they align with the border. So when designing you assume that nobody does that and that is a perfectly reasonable assumption.

If you don't use Calibre already you should definitely take a look at it. It makes organizing your ebooks much easier. | |

I still think it's wrong to assume how eBooks will be formatted. The design of the Gen3 should have been such that the top line would not have the shadow when you have no top margin.

If you're on a Mac, you need my QuickLook Plugin. That will let you see the covers of the books. I find that's the quickest way to confirm identity of Mobipocket books on Mac. https://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=25603 Quote:

If you have problems formatting micro SD card using your computer for Cybook to download upgrade as recommended in the instructions at Bookeen, then try this. I kept getting a message saying windows couldn't format the card when I used an SD reader to connect the micro SD card directly to the computer. So instead, I put the micro SD card in the cybook and connected the cybook to the computer. Went to my computer and could view e:drive and cybook. Right clicked on e:drive and selected format. Took forever but the micro SD formatted and I was able to follow the download instructions to upgrade the cybook successfully. I googled this and found no online instructions for this work around. I'm posting this for other non-techie's like me so they won't be frustrated or buy another card thinking their card is defective.

Did anybody answer this question ? I couldn't see a reply. I saw Halk on page 5 (#66) saying they went to 2.0 and then back to 1.5. I'm interested, before trying to switch to ePub. |
