Congratulations. I can almost hear your wings flapping all the way out here.

Very impressed. And you just turned 26. What a whirlwind week this must have been. (I didn't manage to get into my first home until I was 26 for the 16th time.)

Best wishes with it. Please do tell us whatever you feel comfortable in telling us about it. We're all very excited for you.

Congratulations Auntie Curly. A baby boy. Does that make you an uncle then? (Only kidding . . . of course I know how that works.)

You said this was your sister's 4th son, is that right? Is she planning on having more children after this, maybe until she has a girl? I only ask because my sister had 3 boys and joked that they'd keep going until they had a girl. Luckily the next one was a girl and she was the last. I'm still not sure if she was really joking or not.

I'm glad they're all doing well and there were no problems. Since babies change so quickly, maybe you can eventually post a picture of the newbie (when you get one) for us to see. He can remain anonymous. No one would recognize him if we saw him on the street.

I think this will be the last one and we were hoping for a girl -- just one, so we could buy little pink dresses, but it was not to be. There are no girls under the age of 40 in the family so it would have been nice. Anyway, we are all very pleased to have another boy and she won't have to worry about buying more clothes!

Curly, CONGRATULATIONS! God bless your sister, too! A 10 lb baby, Yikes! All 3 of mine were under 8 lbs, thank goodness. It would wonderful to be there to help her, but just think how much more allert the baby will be when you are there at Christmas time! That will really being something to look forward to.

My first child was a girl and 15 months later I had a boy. One of my co-workers told me I had a "rich man's family" because now I had to buy all new clothes. Little did she know, I probably would have done that anyway!

The baby will be seven months by then and it will be lovely to see him (and the rest of the family). All new babies need some new clothes and toys and I love buying things for my nephews. They especially like getting exotic things from Scotland that they can't get in the US, like good chocolate.

I partial to Fannie May chocolates, myself! Of course, I'm biased. They are another Chicago delicacy!

Macy's! Seems wrong somehow, but if they use the same recipe I guess it's okay.

I had straight hair as a young child, then it got curly around the age of 13, then I got pregnant and it went straight again, then curly again about a year after the birth -- go figure!! My bathroom cupboard is filled with different hair products to keep it looking curly and not frizzy.

I got perms for year until I had my youngest at 41! Now I don't need perms because Ryleigh curled my hair!!
