Chances are that at that distance, and given solar scatter in the atmosphere, Earth-dwellers might not even notice a difference in their shadows, or be able to see the array in the sky even when it is between them and the sun. Besides, they can always be placed in an orbit that will keep them at right angles to the Earth's angle to the Sun (which makes sense... otherwise, they'd be in darkness 50% of their time in orbit).
