Really all you need is a touch orientation thing, like what Plato has (Applications > Rotation something). That way touch could work for all Kobos.

It's not that simple
A feature like that would rotate the screen, but as @NiLuJe said, not all Kobos are the same and they use different kernels that don't handle rotations/touch inputs the same. Therefore, touch could still be inverted and messed up on some Kobos while on other ones it would work perfectly.
I haven't looked into Plato's code for rotations, but a great effort must have been involved to make it work like it does today.

BTW you can still access KoBox (after you launched it) with keyboard/mouse input by doing this:
SSH then:

chroot /mnt/user /bin/sh

export DISPLAY=:0

x11vnc

it'll print a lot of output, but you should then be able to connect to the server via a VNC viewer like TigerVNC or RealVNC
(you just type your Kobo's IP and you should be good to go )

echo <some value here> > /sys/class/backlight/<some backlight device>/brightness

for my Libra it could be:

echo 10 > /sys/class/backlight/mxc_msp430.0/brightness

Also you should try the VNC thing, it is quite impressive

Alright, @NiMa, I have here a list of things that need to be improved:

Touch
Power button
You forgot to put a watch on KoBox, I had to do that manually
Support for older kernels (hopefully when the Mini arrives )

Otherwise, all looking awesome!!! GREAT work, NiMa!

For the watch, I set it up correctly, all should've worked fine.
Check the txz if you want, it's there
You can shutdown your Kobo by typing this in a terminal

sync
reboot -or- poweroff

Huh. Yeah, it does seem to be in the txz... for some reason it didn't load to either of my Kobos. Still power button would be less work, and the only way I can shutdown is through SSH because of no touch.
