I never noticed it before. Well, anyway, I'd like a similar option with author sort.

Also on the series, I hope they steal the number badge from Nook and list the series title below. I don't like that the text only says how many books are in the series.

On the other hand, I never saw the cover view before, so who am I to complain?

What do you mean by a pop out web browser? I tap on the beta features icon, tap on web browser start and the web browser shows up much as it did in earlier versions.

I looked up the plugins in calibre, and can't fin the pocket+ plugin you mention. Where can I find it?

I agree that having the series name under the covers would be better.

I applied the patch to remove the bottom two text links from the home page. Previously using that made the home page look too sparse to me. But now it is much nicer.

I also increased the cover size on the home screen. That also looks better than it used to. Of course, it is also making my Nook home screen and my Kobo one look more and more alike.
I'm so intrigued by the Western collection on the Kobo! 🤠🐎

I was one of the users who described the new layout as cluttered.

To me, the problem is not so much with the home screen (though I agree with others that the My Books preview is redundant now, and the screen would look better without the last line of text) but with the My Books screen - you have the clock/icon line on top, then below that the Books/Authors etc. tabs, below another line for the sorting options, five books and then the menu *plus* the scrolling bar on the right. It might look better on bigger screens but on 6-inch devices like my Glo HD it's a lot of stuff. I'm not saying it's not easier to access the menu now, or that the scroll bar isn't more convenient - I can appreciate that and still dislike the way it was put together.

Thanks. For me, it is much easier to see how the My Books screen could be considered cluttered than the Home screen.

It's not a plugin, it's a recipe, and it might not be in the regular catalog of recipes.

https://github.com/mmagnus/Pocket-Pl...bre-Plugin.git

It's fairly flexible in that you can control by tags in pocket what it downloads.

I think the "tabs" are the best thing to happen to the home screen recently. Makes navigating easier and faster. I still don't like it nearly as much as the classic tiled screen from the older firmwares, but considering I rarely visit the home screen unless I'm looking for a new book to read, I suppose it's a minor complaint.

Help! This update has made my library (My Books) practically unusable on the Aura One. I detest the scroll bar. My touch screen is very unresponsive on the right edge, and trying to swipe to be able to look at one page at a time means I either randomly open books I don't want open or the scroll bar jumps to the middle of the stack instead of going to the next page of my library list. Does anyone know if there's a way to change the settings for how this behaves? Move the scroll bar to the left of the screen? Anything?

I had the same problem so I went back to the old fw.
For me the old "home" is much clean ...(The two Kobos are patched)

There is nothing wrong with the new home screen. Why not use that wasted space at the bottom?

The problem is not in the home, but in the "my books" page,(scrollbar) as wrote "amo"

I love post 1960's westerns. No John Wayne, no Louis L'Amour.

I particularly enjoy foreign westerns. There's something about seeing the conventions of the Old West interpreted though other cultures. I love the Italian Spaghetti Westerns and their literary counterpart, the British Piccadilly Cowboys. Lots of those old books have been released as ebooks through a company called Piccadilly Publishing.

I agree completely.

I'd like to see the tiles come back, but that isn't going to happen.

The new changes are a positive. I prefer the buttons at the bottom to the old hamburger menu.
