Today, Texas is GMT-6. Or, you can remember to add 6 to local time to find out what time it is London. (Except for 2 weeks a year, London is 6 hours off from Dallas. But, since GMT doesn't change with "summer time", Dallas is sometimes GMT-5 when the US is observing daylight saving time.)

Nice Beach, very tropical looking compared to the cool rain that we are getting in Vancouver this morning. I had to look up Noosa Main Beach on Google Earth to find the exact location. We have lots of beaches on our coast but the water is extremely frigid.

Our Pacific Rim National Park on the west coast of Vancouver Island has Long Beach. I have seen surfers there with wet suits on. Here is a general link to the park, browse down and find a link to Long Beach. I've made the trip there 3 times, I should go more often.
