I know, but it won't download automatically and, if you didn't know about MobileRead, you probably wouldn't know you could download software not officially released for the Mini.

I'm just glad that the newer firmware is available for the Mini, whether its official, unofficial or "semi-official."

I don't have 4.20.x, but I do have 4.19.14123 and can confirm that it works on my Mini for Overdrive (when the book is first borrowed with an Overdrive enabled Kobo), for the store and syncs without issue. I just "bought" a free book to test it.

It is only official if Kobo says it is official. As I have said before, the support is probably still there because it would probably be more difficult to remove it than it is worth.
