I see the same on my Aura One even though I have 91 right now and they're all downloaded. (I'm still on 4.4.9349 waiting for the ota update.) "Remove all" is greyed out. Hadn't actually noticed it since I just delete or archive as I read them.

Ok, perhaps it was that person's first view of the new home screen. I still have the original home screen. I like the grid of 7 or so book covers.

I thought that discussion has been done to death already. All the firmware is at kobo.com (well, kobo.com and various Akamai edge servers). If you really want the firmware delivered OTA earlier than for the kobo affiliate setting, try bestbuyca or beta in affiliate.conf. After updating to 4.5.9587, I didn't see any showstopper bugs. It ran happily enough on a KA1, Aura H20, Aura HD and Aura (original). |

It was a person here: link who wrote: "The old home button is gone, replaced with the word. Advertising screen is absent. Lower screen has Browse Kobo option on left or tips on the right. Center screen has My Books on left and An Author selection on right. Top of screen gives selection of four books you are reading. Upper left corner has Home and this brings you to all menu buttons." Based on his comment "The advertising screen is absent" I thought perhaps the newer home screen had been modified in this latest update. |

I'm finding the per-book and total reading time stats are still quite inaccurate in this version. I finished a KePub book synced from Kobo that took me about 12 hours to read, but the stats page at the end of the book said it took 24 hours, and the total reading time reported in the activity page increased by over 35 hours. The strange thing is that the estimated time to complete the chapter and estimated time remaining for the book were accurate while I was reading it, just the totals after I had finished reading that were wrong. |

All right, I got brave and put the new firmware (and patch) on my Mini. After what seemed a little longer than usual, the firmware was installed with no problems. I find I kind of do like the changes, and I'll consider updating my other devices. I especially like clicking on "My Books" and having the tabs at the top for Author and Collection.

Lovely to get everyone's take on this update. I'm excited for an OTA. Funny, my Aura didn't have any glowlight or sleeping issues causing battery drain until around 2 weeks ago when I synced for the first time in a while. A conspiratorially minded person might entertain the notion Kobo purposefully introduced silent bugs to force an upgrade. The truth is out there! |

I don't know if it's a bug or just the way they want it to be, but after reading a pocket article, getting the "End of article" pop-up menu, choosing "Delete", answer "remove from device". It stays on the same page (of the article that is deleted, and thus shouldn't be able to be shown). I would think the logical next step would be to close the current (and removed) article and get back to "Articles". |

My Kobo Glo HD has been crashing every time I open a book (KEPUB) for the first time. The screen goes blank and the device restarts itself. It has been happening for some time now, but I don't remember with which update it started. Has anyone else had this problem?
