If the reader becomes a bit of a success, the big apps will support the buttons. The key codes have already been posted.

OK, I've bought Moon+ and it works extremely well. Setting a theme with a white background, a black font, and bold text, gives an extremely readable display - as good as the Kindle Paperwhite, to my mind. The page turn buttons work "out of the box", and so does TTS. An excellent reader, and one that makes this device a definite "Keeper" for me.
The controls are completely configurable, and the D-pad is fully supported for whatever you want it to do. See attached picture. Last edited by HarryT; 07-02-2014 at 10:45 AM. |

Over at the ereader blog there is a video review of the T68 running the Kindle app:
http://blog.the-ebook-reader.com/201...-review-video/ In the comments, a fix was suggested that apparently helps: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ookclearscreen I would also suggest trying one of the older kindle apps that work on the Sony T1. 2.05 should work. http://www.freewarelovers.com/android/app/kindle Last edited by fjtorres; 07-02-2014 at 11:17 AM. |

Isn't there SOMETHING that doesn't work as it should? Must... resist.... Anything? How's the page counting: can Moon+ open AZW3 files and count pages like the Kindle does, or is there some other option to customize it for EPUB's? I see 12/27 in the picture; do you know by any chance how this app counts? What's with the bold text; are the normal fonts not bold enough? What happens to text that should be bold by default; is it even bolder? Can the top bar be hidden? The small footer is enough already. Have you also tried Mantano? Are you tired of these questions yet? Thanks in advance ![]() If a cover appears that I like, there is a chance I'll try this reader. I'll root it, clean it up, install a 'big' reading app, and it'll be the most customizable e-reader ever created; fit for years to come, as long as it doesn't break. I've never used Calibre Companion - what's the benefit of it? At present, I'm simply connecting Calibre to the "Books" folder on the SD card of the Lynx, and that works like any other device would. What do I gain by using Calibre Companion?

Thanks
![]() This is looking good. Maybe Onyx should include an option to hide the top bar as soon as a program starts. TBH, it's the one thing I can really mark down as "wrong", at this point in time. |
