I guessed that, but I was mostly referring to the "can't adjust fingers up and down to get the right brightness, now only have _one_ swipe before having to lift fingers." I'm guessing that is connected to the font change swipe "feature", and also not changeable?

Not necessarily connected, but in the same way it is embedded in nickel code. We can't change the behavior without using some hacks. Does anyone have a kobo aura to test this behavior under firmware >3.2.0? maybe it is indeed a bug, I don't know.

I have an Aura 6" running fw 3.3. I haven't noticed any problem with light adjustment swiping. Seems to work the same as it always did.

Same here, Aura 6", non-sideloaded 3.3.0, no tweaks. I can take the two-finger light adjustment slider up and down without letting go - no problem. The only time I run into trouble is if my two fingers separate, which triggers the "pinch" detection, brings up the magnifying glass, and changes the font size. This was easily avoided once I twigged what was doing it.

Hah! Thanks for that. I didn't even realise this zoom feature was an option for standard epubs. I thought it was kepub only. Looks like it needs a bit of work to be useable, though.

I get it, so there are still some differences in the drivers for the two kinds of touchscreens. I'll find the time to investigate sooner or later...

This is a great hack, infact one of those I don't think I will be doing without from now on.
But sadly I am unable to use @sergeyvl12's Kobo Launcher on my Glo with it as the touch becomes unresponsive and the device needs to be reset using the pin.
Same problem with with Tshering's Start menu.

Any of you guys have this issue?

It is a known issue. The Kobo Launcher and the Start menu are incompatible with the two fingers light control hack. I was hoping that Sergey could solve this problem by rewriting his touch driver (on which the Start menu also is depending), but I did not hear about it for some time.

Hi tshering, I didn't hear about this. Is the kobo launcher / start menu compatible with the kobo aura? If they are, it could be due to the remaining differences with its multitouch driver, ad it could shed some light on how to solve them...

Hi Giorgio! Yes, both are running on all Kobo e-ink devices, including the Kobo Aura, cf. this post. It would be great, if you could find a solution for this.
