[GUI Plugin] Prince PDF

All the PDF magic is done by Prince (the 3rd party program, not the plugin), the plugin simply feeds the html documents to Prince. So, if Prince allows using an external definition for the PDF bookmarks (which I cannot find), then it may be possible to do it, otherwise I'm afraid it's beyond the plugin's scope.

Maybe this is off topic, but do you know a commercial or free software that converts EPUB to PDF that takes in consideration the TOC also (I mean a more professional software)?

Hello,
As I had to re-install my computer I get the following error (before everything when press Config or Convert). And on another computer too, testing it (Version of Calibre 6.0 W11 W10 for second, and last Prince. Thanks to answer Julie34

Could you try setting the language to English and see what happens?

Most likely the plugin has to be updated to Qt 6. I just learnt that calibre has been updated to Qt 6 while translating it (I guess there was some announcement in the general calibre forum, but I don't follow it). I'll update the plugin eventually, but it may take some weeks (holidays means holidays, sorry).

No problem I may wait: I have a verey old laptop, battery dead, with a not updated Calibre.
I appreciate this plugin especially because, when my epub is ok, I go back to Calibre, convert to mobi and to PDF, all in the same location. And very smple...

And how good are you with romansh language or occitan ? Try a bit.

Under some circumstances, changing the language can help debug problems. Seeing if you get the same error or a different on can help. But, in this case, this has nothing to do with the language. It is one of the many enum issues with Qt6 that we have been fighting with. In this case, there is a "TextEditWithTooltip.NoWrap" that probably should be replaced with "TextEditWithTooltip.LineWrapMode.NoWrap". I can see some other Qt enums that probably need to be fixed as well.

It's still in my to-do list. But I can't install calibre 6 in my current system, so it'll have to wait until I find the time and mood to upgrade the OS.
