Cool Reader for Kobo

I have just installed 1.2.6.8, but unfortunately it still freezes my glo, I am wondering if it was made possible to disable the sleep timer, and let it sleep manually, by power switch or sleep cover, would that solve it?

I have the same setup as you, and also started with a clean database, am using 2.8.1 firmware. The freezing still happens :-(

jlynton, if I understand you correct, the main problem is autosleep?

I don't know if that is the problem, but when it leave it unattended, after a few minutes it freezes. If the sleep timer could be disabled, I could try that, and hopefully narrow down the problem.

trekk, Will be fixed today. It was just an experiment to low down power consumption in the sleep mode.
trekk, Can you help with German translation? I see that German, Russian and Chine are in the 3 top who uses CR.

I see that 1.2.6.9 is available, what are the changes?

I installed 1.2.6.9 on my glo, and saw that it allows setting the sleep timeout to 0, I did that but am sad to say that it froze again after a few minutes of inactivity.

Changes are:
1. Fix 1.2.6.8 problem on Aura
2. Sleep timeout = 0 -> disable auto-sleep
3. Allow *.jpg as screensaver image
4. Configurable full update.
5. Configurable log level in the KoboLauncher to provide more information to developer about problems

1. Can you set log level = 2 in kobo launcher, use cool reader for some time until it freeses, touch the screen and power button after freeze and provide me the launcher.log.txt file from the "KoboLauncher" folder?
2. Your glo freezes if you in KoboLauncher also? Or just if you are in CR?
3. Can you set up usb network and connect to your glo through the terminal?
