Actually, why not send me the money via PayPal and I'll buy the ePub for you as a gift? Just PM me if you want to do this.

I'm in Canada and the button links to the UK version (but it's $61 CAD and change for the set). The button is greyed out at first, and it asks you to change your language option to UK (won't accept US). I downloaded the epubs without store affiliation since I have a Kobo.

If we download with store affiliation, can we download more then 8 times from that store?

To any one who bought the English-GB versions of the books - are the covers actually like this instead of the original: The US version seems to have kept the covers from the paper books. (and yes I know I'm nitpicking ) |

Those are the covers for the paper UK books. They re-released them with new cover art. Edit: Wasgo beat me to it. |

Downloading a DRM-free ePub to your computer 'costs' one download. But you can then read that DRM-free ePub on any of your devices that can read an ePub.

What gives you that impression? You can download a DRM-free ePub version directly from the pottermore site, once you've bought it.

I'm a bit confused at Pottermore's logic in selling a watermarked ebook directly from their site but requesting it be DRMed if it's sold through one of the bookstores. Am I misunderstanding something or is this another facet of the grand clusterfluff? |

By the Terms of service, the other 6 downloads are backups in case your PC crashes and you lose you hard drive backup or you abuse your Amazon account and get banned. Seems plenty liberal to me.

So when faced with the choice of DRM-free with no watermark, or DRM, they went with the DRM version. Maybe they'll eventually offer a DRM-free, watermarked file directly from the site.
