I don't understand why Amazon could not:

a) Tell him why they locked down his account

b) Ask him to open a new account, and they would populate it will all the things he had already bought.

Nothing this guy wrote rings in the least true. Which is why I am going to assume nothing happened the way the person in the article stated it happened until I am presented evidence to the contrary. (I'm the opposite of MrsJoseph and I prefer em dashes.)
