And when a person who wants to be an author is incapable, not only of using the language she is writing in, but of recognizing or acknowledging that inability, even when examples are pointed out to her, it's highly unlikely that this person will go on to great things.
In my business if a person were to have a fit like that, they would have to find a new career. It would be impossible to stay in the business - word travels fast and people forgive slowly.

Her style reminds me of a Nigerian scam email.*

It occurred to me that the whole thing might be some kind of guerrilla marketing promotional stunt and the whole angry author persona was a well-executed charade.

*if it really is a 'her' at all.

Yeah, except that 'the Nigerian Prince' usually has much better writing than 'the Greek Seaman'.

That gave a me a blog topic last week. It's sad. Because her behaviour has singed the reputation of many indie authors.

I think she missed her calling as a romance novelist. Jacqueline, should send her resume to Charlie Sheen. His tour is floundering now that he's semi-sober. Jacqueline's words and Charlie's rep could be the "winning" combination that gets both of their careers back on track.

As a beginning author (of short stories, right now), I have some sympathy for her. I got my first one-star review a few days ago, and it didn't exactly nourish my soul. But going off on readers is not even close to an acceptable response. The first story I posted on Amazon, I got back feedback that I'd missed a few typos, so I e-mailed the reviewer directly, thanked them, and reposted the story with the typos fixed. Anyone who's had any personal interaction knows that tirades are not the way to win friends and influence people.

But you just reinvent yourself with a pen name and start over.

I can't bring myself to give this woman a dollar, even out of curiousity.
