Cold, windy and overcast, with a few bouts of sleet and snow in the afternoon.

Tonight it's supposed to get colder and windier, with gusts up to 50 MPH being forecast.

Wednesday is forecast to be sunny, but windy and cold -- below freezing all day.

Currently 33F with clear skies. We are meant to get to 45F today, but we'll see. Hourly forecast has temps back down to mid 30s for my late afternoon jog time.

Extreme cold warning for tonight and tomorrow. Windchills of -41C. Ugh. I hate winter. Hate, hate, hate. It's not a strong enough word.

Two days ago our high temp was in the 20s, but it was dry, sunny and gently breezy. I was comfortable reading on the back deck in a good jacket.

Today the high was in the low 50s, but it was heavily overcast and "felt damp." I wasn't comfortable on the deck.

The rains should start any minute, now, and we'll be back in winter by Tuesday.

Winter was predicted for Tuesday but arrived a bit early. Temperatures dropped a few degrees below freezing and instead of a light rain we got a light cover of snow, which promptly melted on the (relatively warm) paved surfaces, and then froze into a slick coating of ice.
