I had heard that it would be in the 20s this morning, and I do believe it was. It was so cold I put on my hoodie. It felt a lot better by this afternoon, at least to me as I sat on a bench outside waiting for one of the valets to bring our car around. I can't be sure, though, because while I sat there in a short-sleeve shirt and feeling perfectly comfortable, I saw normal human beings walking around with their heavy winter coats pulled tight around their necks as if to form a barricade against an arctic blast.

I'm not normal. Mars would be a much better fit for someone like me.

19 F this morning ... but it did get above 40 F today ... start of the warming trend

We hit 7 degrees (F) last night, but it warmed up to about 40 degrees by the time I was ready to go out.

Today was as bright and sunny as yesterday, and the temperature was about the same, but yesterday we had a steady wind and today the air was calm. That made a huge difference for sitting on the deck!

Well, it was 38F when I got up at 5am, but by the time I got to work at 6, It had dropped to 33F. It feels much colder than yesterday because the humidity is 87%. Nothing can chill like a hard, damp cold.

Miserable. Temps are in the mid 40s (F), which saves on heat, but it's heavily overcast and we've had rain on and off all day. I (and my sinuses!) would be happy if it was cold and sunny!

Warm (50's F), sunny, and quite gusty. Cold front approaching - temps to start dropping after lunch into the 20's F tonight.

Yep, except we got into the 60s. I was reading on the deck without a coat -- although I was wearing a rather heavy corduroy shirt. Then we had another rain. Then the sun came out.

Possible snow in a few days.

My knees and sinuses are not amused.

Some relief from the heat and gusty easterlies, which is making the bushfire catastrophe down south a little easier to fight.

From my reading spot on the back deck. The rain was just a matter of 15-20 minutes --- but it cooled down enough that I put on a light jacket. Not bad for the middle of April ... ummm, January.

Cold & blustery ... at least the rains finally stopped .... my lawn is still muddy and draining into the street
