As this Mystery Discount promo seems to be targetted at the Contest countries, UK CA & US, I'm wondering if they're going to replace the Contests all together? .........

I only received one email and I have two accounts. It was only worth 10% when I checked it, but I just checked again and it's now 30%! Maybe in another couple of days it will be 90%?

I sent in a complaint to customer service and wrote on Facebook to complain. This is the response I got:

"Thank you for that information, Meghan.

Once again, we are sorry that you only received 10% off of what should have been between 30%-90%. We would like to confirm that we have added $10.00 CAD to your account to compensate for the inconvenience this has caused you. Please note that we have been having some issues with our promo codes however, our web team is aware of this and they are working on resolving the issue.

Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Thank you"

Not only is the $10 on my account, my code was upped from 10% to 30%.

Not only is the $10 on my account, my code was upped from 10% to 30%.

guess i should have complained on fb....but i detest doing that sort of thing (anything that associates business with my private life. ..which is all i use fb for)

all i got for my complaint was a 30% code, which I'm happy to donate

Aus and NZ have now been included in the Mystery Code promo. So that means the codes are good for use in UK CA US AU and NZ.

I was surprised to receive a code today, but since none of the books in the list are of any interest to me whatsoever I haven't checked what it's worth. Has anyone tried if the codes work on books not on the official list?

Yes, at least from here in the States. The title I tried it on was not on the list, but is from a publisher that is usually coupon eligible. I didn't go through with the purchase, though. I have enough titles in my TBR list to last a while and I'm hoping for another contest, eventually. It shouldn't be too hard to beat 10%.
