So that you don't think that I've lost my mind, I'm not the only one who ran into a problem. Dr. Drib tried to get the webpage, and failed to get it also. His comments are on the News thread.

I'll let you know tomorrow how things turn out. I'm not going to try your suggestions before I hit the sack in a few minutes.

Oh, I think that you made a fine choice of the three albums (that's the one that I picked. ha I liked the Barber of Seville, but every time that I hear it, I think of that old Bugs Bunny cartoon with the music in it. The cartoon was hilarious). The middle choice (piano) to me was meh.

Thanks. I had no problem with the webpage, either, shortly after this offer for the month came out. Why didn't I go ahead and make my selection? I knew almost nothing about Rossini's works, except for The Barber of Seville. Most of the remainder of the tracks of even the album with that track on it were unfamiliar. I wanted to listen to all three albums before picking one. By the time that I finished listening to them, using my Spotify account, I couldn't access the page anymore.

Someone mentioned having success using the link from their newsletter, instead of the link in my initial post of the promo. That didn't work, either.

I did use Chrome this time. I had to open the message in full to use the link (as usual), also tried the link after opening the page in a browser.

Can't try now, of course, as their system now recognizes that I downloaded the album under my email ID.

I've had problems on their site in the past that were cured by a full reboot (which often downloaded a Flash update and, at the least, dumped all old remnants of Flash from memory).

I'll try the reboot. I guess I'll have to then turn off the ad blocker and clear the cache again.

I'm always afraid of rebooting out of fear that I'll get another piece of work like Cortana after I've done it.

Okay. For those who are not subscribers to Naxos. The word that I get is that if you're not on the mailing list for their newsletter, but sign up for it, you will get this month's newsletter in your email on the same day. There will be a unique URL or code or something in the newsletter. It may not work immediately after you get it, but it should work for you by the following day. Since the link didn't work for me after the first time that I used it this month (and I used it to view the selection only, I didn't select one of the albums), this might only work the first time that you access the webpage.

Again, the main benefits of membership are that you can get two free albums each month. The first one will be an MP3. There is no choice; there is only one album offered. The next free album offered is a choice of one of three albums, all in FLAC. If you are interested, you can sign up on this webpage. The benefits that I described come with the free membership--you do not have to sign up for the premium membership.

Please let me know; if so, a change in settings on the computer might take care of the problem. Although, I have had no issues with it heretofore and, in fact, shortly after I saw the promotion available, I was able to see the albums with all of their tracks, download buttons, etc. It was only several days later, that I couldn't do it. But Microsoft installed at least one update (as usual, without asking me first or letting me select what I wanted and didn't want) somewhere along that time; that might have boogered things up (I feel the urge to physically harm the person(s) responsible for putting Cortana on my machine).

BTW--she has not returned my email yet asking for her to send me the zip file of the Rossini album that I chose (Overtures, Vol. 2). I think that she is based in Hong Kong, though, and she probably had gone for the weekend by that time (with the International Date Line demarking Friday from Saturday, with us being in Friday and her being in Saturday (I think that that is how it works)) that I sent my last email message. She had replied very speedily to my initial message.

I finally decided to join the Naxos bandwagon, so I signed up for the newsletter yesterday. The email link - DOWNLOAD ONE OF THIS MONTH’S FREE ALBUMS - didn't work.

So today, I tried again and still nothing. Then I saw this at the top of the email - Can’t view the graphics below? Please click here. I clicked it and a new tab opened with the same info as the email. I clicked the download link and it worked. I then successfully downloaded Rossini's Complete Overtures, Vol 2 (it has the Lone Ranger theme on it)

I tried that, also, several times. But, I still couldn't get it to work. There's a glitch. There's bound to be.

Yeah, individual tracks can be a pain to keep organized, etc. But I think that you could make some good playlists from them.

More important than the theme to the Lone Ranger is the Barber of Seville pieces that were used on the old Bugs Bunny cartoon! That is a real classic, like the Doctor Jekell (sp?) and Mr. Hyde one is.

I'm still monitoring my email for one from Naxos. It's almost noon in Hong Kong. I'm shocked. Shocked I say, that they haven't made this their first order of business for the day!
