I'm not a paid member. When I cancelled my Gold Plan, it was converted to the Basic Plan (no longer available). What is available is the Light Plan for $10/year. Call Audible (1-888-283-5051) and ask them for the Light Plan. You'll then get all promos, except those involving credits.
  • AudibleListener Light Plan. The AudibleListener Light Plan is available only on an annual basis and only to Gold and Platinum Members who want to downgrade their plan type. AudibleListener Light Plan members do not receive membership credits but a Gold or Platinum Member converting to the AudibleListener Light Plan may have AudibleListener Rollover Credits that they can rollover when they downgrade. Audible will charge members who downgrade to the AudibleListener Light Plan the yearly plan fee each year on the yearly renewal date.
  • Basic Membership Plan. The Basic Membership Plan is available only to existing Basic Members. The Basic Membership is no longer available to new or Gold and Platinum AudibleListener Members. Any changes to the Basic Membership Plan will be communicated to existing Basic Members by Audible.

Both titles were added to the list of Free Audible Books. There are currently 24 titles on this list. Most are under 60 minutes in length, but seven are over four hours long.

Question: Has anyone had trouble with the Matchmaker program at Amazon. It seems to go only check my most recent purchases and not my whole library.

I had forgotten about this feature (luckily for my wallet) but when I just looked at it, it does seem to be focused on some of the newer items I've acquired. And the loading 5 items at a time thing is SO annoying.

Did you keep scrolling down to the bottom and click "load more"? The first time I looked at the matches I only paid attention to the progress bar at the top, which just went through recent purchases.

Yes I did, and it does not load anything else. I tried signing out of Amazon and Audible as well. I know I have more matches. I double checked some of the earlier Classic titles I first got with Amazon and it seems not to go back that far.

Yes... I had 2-3 days where I could only see the first page of results, then magically last Saturday it let me back in.

I imagine many here got on the light plan the way I did: get a free trial membership. You'll be offered light if you choose not continue after the trial.

DianNC, if you've never had an Audible plan, you can get a free 30-day trial with two free audiobooks. Some links will only get you one book, so be sure to use the above link to get two books.

Buy 3 books for 2 Credits choose from 200+ selected books http://www.audible.com/sp/3for2/ ends 21 November.
Not sure if its open to non members often they'll only send the promo to those that have 2+credits on their account
