It was actually a pretty nice day today. It was pretty hot (temps were in the high 80s) and humid, but it was breezy. The sky was a mix of sun and clouds.

Now that the sun has set and it's cooling off I was thinking of taking a walk, but the forecast for this evening just changed to a 50% chance of rain. I don't like those odds.

And here it was fairly cool. Only in the low 90s with 40% humidity.
Sunny with storm clouds south of us.
Amazing how hot and cool depend on the region.

True, but the humidity made it feel worse!

I just noticed you were in New Jersey where 80 there is always hotter than 90 in Texas.

Checked the weather forecast.
Weather forecast for today and tomorrow - widespread smoke (complete with smoke icon)

It's currently at eye irritation level and expected to stay there for the rest of today. :-(

Beautiful day today -- over here, anyway. Sunny with an occasional passing cloud and a nice breeze. The temperature reached the mid-80s (F), but the humidity is very low. Overnight temperatures have been getting down into the 50s.

Weather similar to cromag - but a tad toastier ...

Now waiting to see if TS Erika strengthens into Hurricane Erika ... and where it might choose to travel on land .... sigh ....

I am in my Charlotte portion of the year due to teaching commitments and I am not at all looking forward to that particular rain/wind possible combo.

However, the weather down here has been terribly pleasant in the mornings. It was 66 when I left the house at 6am today. The highs are still hovering in the mid to upper 80s, which is a bit too warm for me, but the cool air is coming!

We still have yo-yo weather, like all summer. On Thursday it didn't get any warmer than 17C, on Sunday temperatures up to 30C are expected, with thunderstorms and a lot of rain expected late afternoon.

Today temperatures are set to reach around 23-25C, hopefully it won't be humid.

Torrential rains during morning commute ... now temps & humidity levels creeping up again .... for last blast of summer weather for Labor Day weekend ...

Temps got to the mid 90s (F) today, and the humidity felt like it got into the same range. No rain, though.
