The free first-of-a-series books have ended up costing me a lot! However, I now rarely ever buy a book where I haven't read and liked the author for free, either a free book or from the library. At least now, when I do buy, I have good odds of really liking the book and so very few dollars are wasted. The free books also have expanded what I read and that has turned into a very nice thing.

I just logged into a very old account that I no longer use. It doesn't show the banner either.

I am now very confused. (Not hard to do to me, just don't tell anyone! ) I didn't think tubemonkey was a paid member and I thought he was getting this promotion. I don't know how some people get the offer and others don't.
