Yesterday it was downright chilly. When the house got down to 65° (F) I gave in and turned the heat back on. Just a few degrees makes a big difference.

Today it was significantly warmer than the forecast called for, and it was actually very nice outside. No new rain, but it's still soaked out there from the past three days.

We finally got chilly today - high in the 60's F - I had to dig out a jacket for my walk tonight.

But no fear - summer roars back in this weekend - back into the 90's F with +90% humidity levels ...

Yesterday it was 17°C and until mid-afternoon very grey. Today promises to be sunny and around 21° and for tomorrow 30° is predicted with at the end of the day thunderstorms. The last couple of days it has been very humid, hopefully it won't be as bad today and tomorrow.

Summer's here ... but there's no dancing in the streets .... hot & humid ... for the next week at least ... you break into a sweat just standing still outside ...

Memo to self: run all your errands tomorrow morning before the asphalt melts & sticks to your shoes ...

Not quite as hot as yesterday, and not quite as humid as yesterday. No sign of rain, so I probably won't be able to avoid the lawnmower.

My lawn is now 'crunchy' - so it won't be seeing me anytime soon ...

We hit 111 on our porch thermometer yesterday. It was 88F by 11am. We are not coming back out of the house until September. Luckily, we do all our fitness indoors, but it is patently miserable. Oppressive air with nary a storm in sight.

Hot and cloudy up here, but not quite as hot as the past few days. It's still threatening to rain, but it's a steaming rain, not the kind that cools things off.
