Bricked Glo HD
Hello guys,

I think i bricked my brand new Glo HD. the screen is stuck in the "connected to usb and charging" logo. When i turn it on or off, nothing happens except for the red LED that goes off (screen keeps on showing "connected to usb") Can the sd card image method bring some life back to my reader?

Hello I am hoping to be able to get my Kobo glo HD working again if I can image a new SD Card.

is it possible to get an fresh image to try breath life into this ereader?

After a year of not charging it, Kobo Glo HD seems fully bricked with a faulty SD card.
Would it be possible to have access to a .img file?
Model is N437

Unfortunately unless someone with a device can reproduce the image or someone who David provided an image to comes forward with the image everyone needing one may be out of luck.

I am so sorry to hear the news about David. I was unaware of his passing. Please pass on my condolences (if that is appropriate)

If I am able to obtain a version of the KOBO GLO HD sdcard Image that works I will endeavor to provide it in accordance with the posting policies.

If anyone who has received a copy of the image already, read's this. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

You need to have Private Messages enabled. Easiest way is to post a request in the Requests to enable Private Messages thread.

Thank you for the assistance. I have been able to breath life back into GLO HD.

So Nice to be able to relax and read with it.

Kobo support should have been able to help me so easy. But unfortunately they only want new sales, and not to help stop e-waste.
