I have just tried contacting Kobo's 'customer care' (snigger @ that misnomer) to ask where my missing 90% codes are, but the only option it would give me was to contact them by phone, which I cant do. There was no email option at all. I sent it anyway, with 'no phone' typed in the phone number box, so maybe someone will email back, but I wont be holding my breath!

When I first made the account they gave me a code (Grt50dis) that applies a 50% discount on a purchase. However it says only selected titles, but it doesn't specify which titles are eligible. I've tried a few with no luck. Does someone know how to check which titles are included? The code expires the 8th of May. Ty in advance.

On the sidebar to the left, there is a line that says "promo eligible books only" or something like that. Click and it deletes the non-qual'd books from the list after a search. But if it's a big publisher, you can pretty much count on the coupon not working. Most small pubs, indie works, Baen and so on are coupon eligible. I have seen people use the coupons on textbooks, but I don't know which country!

I have the same email. When you click "SHOP NOW" inside this email, you are directed to a webpage with some books. You must choose from this list of books.

Thank you and thank you for the info provided. I was able to find the left sidebar and I'll think about which book I want a bit longer. It's a shame not all of them are eligible though. Also the "sort by highest rating" doesn't seem to work very well. All the books on top are one review books that received five stars. It's weird.

It is weird. From my experience it's actually showing what just SOLD best in the last month. Reviews don't seem to play into it much, but it's Kobo. It's very hard to say what they were trying for. Four days out of the week, they'd miss anyway.

The publishers forbid them to do discounts. From what I read on one of the Kobo blogs, they are basically still under agency with the big publishers and are not allowed to offer any non-publisher sponsored discounts.
