Clear and cold, -9 F (-23 C) at the moment, with a expected high of 7 F (-14 C). Even colder tomorrow with high temperatures expected to rise to the mid-teens (F) by the weekend.

Light rain until mid-afternoon, or as Norton would put it if he could talk, a nice day to pee on something in the house.

Actually, on rainy days like this one, I always let him out the front door to do his business. He always bursts through the door as soon as it's open as if he's getting away with something, then once he realizes it's raining, stays on the porch and pees. If he does anything else, he'll do it on one of the spider plants under the maple tree. They seem to like it, which is why I don't think I'd make a good plant.

At around two this afternoon, the chance of rain drops to 40%, then after midnight and all day tomorrow it drops to 20%, but considerably cooler. Tomorrow night the overnight temp is expected to dip to 29° F (-2° C).

Pouring rain and fog this morning - a 'white knuckle' drive in to work - zero to poor visibility on the roads - supposed to clear out this afternoon and visit Tom this evening ....

Well, it was a beautiful day up here! Bright sun through broken clouds, with temps in the mid-40s (F). We're now on the dark side of a really great sunset.

It was a cold morning with a covering of ice on the puddle remaining of Lake Dubyatee this morning (the residue water I couldn't pump out). It's warmed up considerably, and within the next hour should get within a degree or two of 50° F. I'm not sure if I want to go for a walk outside or not. So soon after the rain there are bound to be some slippery spots of mud on the sidewalks.

It got down to almost 10° F last night. It alternated between sun and clouds this afternoon, but still cold. And now it's dark and cold.

But this time last year we had quite a bit of snow, and more coming down, so it's an improvement!

Well, yesterday it was in the mid fifties (F), dark, and rainy.

Today it's bright and sunny -- and just below freezing for the high.

Hey, at least you've GOT a temperature. We started the day at -2. (F) Add in wind and wind chill and I don't even want to know what it was supposed to feel like.
