It's grey and cold.
The days of grey-ness are starting to get to me. If it would be cold and sunny it would be a lot better. The grey-ness just makes everything look miserable.

Nice day today, but cold -- below freezing at its "warmest."

Tomorrow, we're due for heavy rains and strong winds, but at least the temperature should be too warm for ice to form.

Rain should taper off through Wednesday, when I'll be on the road all day.

Well, the nor'easter they were forecasting for today wasn't as bad as it could have been. We got a lot of rain (but not the "up to four inches" that was possible) and some wind (but they were nowhere near the "possible 30 to 50 mph").

But the forecast for tomorrow is looking a little worse -- it could start out as freezing rain and sleet down here and snow up north. My drive is eight hours under the best of conditions, so I hope they're overly pessimistic about tomorrow, as well.

It's been bitterly cold here lately, it's been in the mid sixties in Waianae, and actually got down to forty eight in Kamuela the other night.

Occasional gusty winds and snow flurries down here. I hit the road shortly, and the weather is looking a bit more grim up north. Maybe I'll have a chance to break in those new snow tires.

It looks like it will be raining a lot today and it will be grey and dark. For tomorrow more rain is predicted.
