Looking at her bibliography it's a bit difficult to determine which book is first in the series. Her later ones were translated first thus showing those having earlier published dates.

Well, it was OK. I didn't really get attached to the characters, and there wasn't really much new in the time travel bits of it. Although since it was originally published eight years before Groundhog Day was released, I suppose the first chapter was new then.

Next: Agatha Christie's The Body in the Library, her 39th book.

Well, Beekeeping for Beginners is one that you could read at any point, but it's interesting to read it in fairly close proximity to The Beekeeper's Apprentice, since they cover the same events, just from a different perspective.

I'm 3/4's through it and I'm leaning towards changing the series number from 1.5 to .5. By the way, assuming you are the 'someone' I remembered commenting that I should read the novella Beekeeping for Beginners,

Wow! Great story! The story concluded at 80% and I'll definitely renumber it in my library to Mary Russell 0.5. Now back to A Monstrous Regiment of Women.

I think I was probably the one who suggested it to you, though I'd have to dig through the threads to be sure. But certainly, I have done so in the past.

As for renumbering it to 0.5? Interesting. I appreciate your viewpoint on it, since by the time I read this story, I was on Mary Russell [11.0]. However, I notice when I look in Calibre, I see Beekeeping for Beginners as Mary Russel [0.50], so I must have had the same reaction!
