Okay, so what's my excuse? Glee is the only thing I watch with any regularity at all. And I watch it the next day via Hulu. (As Chris said, we got rid of DirecTV again... we both refuse to pay what they charge for no more TV than we watch).

*apologies for the seeming non sequitur.. too many posts to quote. And besides, as I recall, BOb likes Glee too

I've never heard of it.

I shut down my cable when the bill went to $60+ for basic.

I forgot again, you don't post with a computer, Recluse. Hulu.com is a website where they air reruns of tv shows. Usually with new stuff you can get the last five full episodes. So I just wait til Wednesday or Thursday and watch Tuesday's episode of Glee on Hulu.

When we moved back to Japan we decided not to get another TV. We had a big screen model but it was 240v and we couldn't use it here (Japan is 100v,) even with a transformer. Hulu isn't an option for us either as they don't stream to Japan, but there are enough other Internet sites that offer up to the minute shows (a day late) to fill the 3-4 hours a week that we actually watch. But it still ticks me off that they canceled "Eureka!"

I have nothing to be angry or vent and rant about. Everything is so bluddy perfect! So now I am ranting

about having nothing to complain about.

My mother understands more concepts than I can think about, has no problem understanding tax and asks sensible questions. Bugga she is not stupid!
My computer is not broken! I have just purchased a nice new outdoor table and chairs and it should be ready to pick up Wednesday. I was shopping today and got some new cushions for the couch all on sale! Great! For satan's sake I am about to purchase a new bicycle as my old one is 10 years old and going OK. I received a nice email today that should tidy up some stuff I needed to do for CPA! Yippee! There are so many things going right I won't fit them on the three good things thread!

Why is nothing wrong? I only feel good when I have something to complain about.
So I am venting about how bluddy great everything is. Things are so far king great I am waiting for the shit to happen!

I dropped DirecTV about a month ago and record the local news and a few others. it's working out great except for the Windows Media Center keeps crashing in the middle of playbacks way too often. Lots of great stuff on http://topdocumentaryfilms.com/ as well if you are into that sort of stuff.

KMPlayer at http://kmplayer.en.softonic.com/
It can play just about every video format (you will need to reassign each format so that KMPlayer will automatically open instead of WMC, QT, or what ever.)
Since I started using KMPlayer, I've never had a problem viewing MP4, FLV, AVI, WMV, DIX, DIVX, MPEG, MPG, or any other format. And it's completely free with no nag screens!

I don't know... I never needed those functions so I never really examined all it can do!

Download it and read through the help pages. I'll do the same. Perhaps we can learn something!
