I didn't pay for the audiobook, it's from Overdrive I agree, the audio narration should be exactly what's in the books. At the same time, I don't know quite how the narrator would pull this off without any explanation in a preface. I read a few more reviews and I understand that the author's note explaining the misspellings is at the end of the book.

Unless they explained it ahead of time, which would I suppose defeat some of the purpose for what I read online, they would have a lot of returns and negative reviews for the audio version I would think.


I generally agree though that the narration should match. I know there's at least one Lisa Kleypas historical where the audiobook was done from a draft version of the book (or something) and doesn't match the text of the published book.
