I know I'm a day late (and a dollar short - whatever that means), but I tried to catch up today. Since I'm in Hamster Jam right now, I stopped at a local bakery and had an appelflap. My only problem is that instead of having it instead of lunch, I had in addition to lunch. But man was it good!

We could institute an appleflap day on the third day of the month. I don't think that day is taken yet, although Geoff seems to have taken every day as chocolate day.

Thank you - these things cannot be left to the vagaries of someone remembering to set aside a day once in a while, that is why the new light at every new dawn starts the brain into remembering without hint or other artificial means that a nibble or two of chocolate is required at sometime before the eyes close at night unto sleep.
