This British author, real name Douglas Reeman, who died in 2017, wrote a lot of naval warfare novels primarily around Nepolean and WW2 eras. Have never read his works, but apparently his E-books are new to the US market.

I enjoyed the Richard Bolitho Series when I read them when I was a teenager. I should probably try them again to see if I would still enjoy them. I never could get into his WWII books, which were published under his real name.

I think the Bolitho books are ok if you’ve read Aubrey/Maturin and Hornblower and are desperate for turn of the 19th century Royal Navy shenanigans. Overall, I think they’re pretty skimpy, but I’ve been told they get better; I’m very slowly reading them.
