While you can use capital letters in the kobo linked address, it looks like you can't use capital letters in the friend's email address.

And 8 seems to be the limit on shopping cart coupons, the 9th just sits there and never completes.

Does anyone know why there are 2 different messages given when you unsuccessfully apply a coupon code? Does the slightly different wording have different meanings?

I have. I created a new Kobo account on that email address and bought a book, then my main email address got the 90% code. It won't work if the 'friend' already had a Kobo account I believe.

Thanks for that info.

So now we just have to wait and see what happens between the 7th April when the codes state that they expire, and April 13 when the Promo states it finishes. (Because my earlier theory that it might be when the referral codes are emailed out is incorrect)
