OK, think I've got it... We have ready-mixed drinks here with anything from vodka and gin through to Jack Daniels and other nectar of the gods, but we wouldn't refer to them as wine coolers.

We would call an actual wine mixer a "spritzer" usually - low alcohol content but great for that relaxing buzz on a warm summer day as the sun goes down. Shame it's p*ssing it down here at the moment (welcome to the UK summer-time).

unfortunately these bear little to no resemblance to a spritzer. they are alcohol fueled children's drinks by all appearances

Yes, exactly. They got a lot of flak here a couple of years ago because they were targeted at teens.

S'mores? Is that a doughnut with chocolate hershey bar and marshmallow inside?

Finishing off the coffee in my cup and trying to decide what next.. tea? (as I still have a bit of a cold) or another coffee? Something warm to drink is needed. Then decide if I should ignore the housework, watch a movie while curled with my hot drink, or finish reading Anna Karenina.

It is a chocolate doughnut with marshmallows, chocolate and tiny bits of graham cracker sprinkled on top. Pretty good! It is sold at Tim Hortons.

Tried it. I can smell it (yes, I know, everyone has already told me that vodka has no smell.) I am here to testify that YES, it does, and I can smell it. And can't get it close enough to my mouth to drink it.

Since we're in the What Is In Your Cup thread though - In my cup: Iced tea. A weird side effect of this stomach virus I had seems to be an intolerance for my Diet Dr Pepper (and again, KK, I don't want to hear it!!! LOL :P) So for now, I guess it's tea.

Really. I can't say vodka has no smell, but it can be easily ignored. Have you tried wine cooler / alcopop? Fruit smell can beat alcohol smell.

I think I've probably been exposed to everything there is out there by well-meaning people over the years trying to find something alcoholic I can't smell.... I don't actually WANT to drink it, so I just test it and laugh at them when I throw up on their shoes... LOL.
