Right now I'm drinking Ahmad English Breakfast tea. I spent two hours this afternoon making tea bags. I was running out of ALL of my tea bags! My wife now has five new tins to add to her collection.

I just had a bicycle run of 1 hour and half. Here it is all ups and downs. So it is good exercise. I will have some water, I think and then a nespresso.

I get drunk a little more often that that (last week, celebrating a big business win, where our MD was forcing drinks on us - he ended up almost unable to walk at the end of it

). But otherwise, I'm the same - a little something several times a week.

Right now it's plain old Rooibos.

There are many different ones, but probably the most common is wine and club soda on the rocks. Some like wine with ginger ale, or wine with tonic water... But always with lots of ice. Sometimes a maraschino cherry... and a little umbrella...

Hmmm. I hate being drunk, probably because I have issues with being out of control like that.

I don't mind unwinding a little bit with a beer or a glass of wine, but I generally don't even do that unless I'm with a group of friends for the weekend (like on my handspinning retreat), or on vacation. I don't keep any alcoholic beverages in the house, but for that matter I don't keep any beverages in the house other than tea, coffee, and water. Too many empty calories!

I try not to keep alcohol in the house, but it keeps miraculously appearing! Schizophrenia has nothing on me

that's unfortunate as they really do not she that much except when they blow their coat. a little bit of proactive grooming and they are good to go. they shed nothing like labs or shepherds.

I must admit, after way too many years of wooing clients [and being wooed], I am now pretty much a professional drinker...While not epic-ly capable like the guys from the Australian Rugby Team, I can hold my own for sure [though please, not with beer].

It can be expensive to be me.

In this case, I'm referring to a bottled malt beverage available in a variety of flavors. It has a fairly low alcohol content, and is sold wherever "normal" beer is sold in the US.

They really aren't wine anything, but the term became widespread back in the 80s because Bartles & Jaymes, the most popular brand in some areas of the US, made both actual wine coolers (Gallo, if anyone wants to know) and these malt beverages. The term "wine cooler" became synonymous with almost anything in that category.

There are malt beverage versions of popular drinks like daiquiris, Fuzzy Navel, Pina Colada, Blue Hawaiian, as well as fruit blends like mango-passionfruit and such.

So yeah, much of the time, "wine cooler" isn't a wine cooler at all. Though I do like real wine coolers as well.
