I think the Kobo refer page must be broken. It doesn't seem to respond when you click to submit the recipient email address

cadele I've just sent referral emails successfully. But what I've noticed is that it won't acknowledge if the email isn't in the right character format or otherwise seems flawed. The program just stops and won't go past that point, and doesn't let you know that it's because it doesn't like the email address.

I just got an email from Kobo inviting me to refer more people. Plus it's on the US splash screen. And i was able to successfully refer one person this morning, but some I'd referred previously never received emails.

I've referred other people's accounts that haven't received the emails/codes as well. It does seem a bit hit and miss (and very Kobo like

I got one at an Outlook address yesterday....

I think it's all just the usual Kobo randomness. I've sent probably 20 to various accounts of mine and have gotten 5 or 6 codes (plus one that someone was kind enough to send me back when I thought it wasn't going to work for me at all). That should be enough for the couponable books I want and haven't gotten yet.

They have arrived in minutes, or in hours, or the next day. Haven't been able to spot any pattern with old vs. new email, old vs. new account, etc...

All you can do with Kobo is grin - or else you might weep...
