Fix Select previously linked books not showing any results unless a specific library is chosen.

Ignore new format "OverDrive Read (Provisional)" present for some not yet published books. Fixes "Unknown book format: "OverDrive Read (Provisional)" (ebook-overdrive-provisional)"

Is there a way to back off the last update to the overdrive plugin? I am debugging the crashing issue using the calibre-debug -g command line and after this morning's update it stopped logging anything the console. All I have in the log is the startup of Calibre where it used to report the activity from the overdrive search job. I rebooted the computer with no change in this situation.

Please advise.

Does this plugin allow you to download your Loaned book directly to Calibre?

No. This plugin helps you search for books of interest to you available to borrow from lending libraries. Instructions are in the first post of this thread.

I encourage everyone to not keep copies of borrowed books.

Overdrive uses Adobe Digital Editions. Look into the DeASCM/ACSM Input plugin. Do not keep the book once the loan period is over! (I do keep the book record to track what I've read, but delete the file.)

Would it be possible/easy to add the ability to sort discovered books by the date the overdrive search was run/they were added to the discovered books list? It would be so useful to me (though admittedly, I might be an atypical user ).

Make a custom date column. Then get the Action Chains plugin and make a chain that runs the search and then updates the column to the current datetime. Then just remember to run the chain instead of the search when needed.

Last Modified plugin could alternately be used to pick up changes on the identifiers field and update the column, but I don't think you can limit that to odid.

It should not be too difficult. I will add this to the next release of the plugin. It should happen sometime this month.

Unfortunately the discovered book list created by this plugin is not an actual calibre library and does not support custom columns.

Added a "Found" column to the discovered book dialog showing the date of the search that first discovered the book.

Searching for recommendable books is no longer available for OverDrive libraries.

Update the cache of book data more frequently so that new entries are not lost if a search job is terminated or fails before it completes.

Wow. You keep making this plug-in better and better. Adding the found date lets me spot the new books that have been added easier.

I'm unclear on the meaning of search for recommended books on overdrive no longer supported. The Overdrive site does not make it clear what they mean other than to say that books can only actually be recommended now in LIBBY and not Overdrive. Doesn't say anything about searching.

Does that mean we can indeed still search for them? If not, why does the Customize Plugin dialog still contain the box to check for recommended books (slow)?
