I would suggest subscribing to BookGorilla and Bookbulb they have a lot of bear shifter books either free or on sale. It's how I find books now. I post any amazing finds from them on here.

Yes, I also blame Shelly Laurenston for my bear obsession!

Thanks for the T.S Joyce and P. Jameson recs. There are so many second-rate bear shifter books on KU that I haven't known where to start.

Dana Marie Bell has a pretty good series called Halle Shifters that features bears. Also Eve Langlais, Jennifer Ashley, Jessica Sims, and Vivian Arend have included bear shifters in their on-going series.

There are a few bear shifters in Jennifer Ashley's "Shifters Unbound" series. But if you only want bears and you have to read all series books in order, it would probably make your head explode to only read the bear books.

When I think of bears I think of Grandfather Mountain wildlife preserve. Where we use to feed the bears and this one bear Kody was covered in peanut shells on his back munching and holding his food up like a baby. So it's hard for me find bears anything but adorable and childlike.

We took my mom who was in a wheelchair and she got so excited trying to see them that she tipped herself over and screamed. All six bears ran away scared to death into their caves.

Mom was fine but it took some major work on the keepers part to get those bears to come back out of their hiding.

I'd never been so embarrassed but after that it hard for me to think of bears as anything other then that.
