Duly noted, I'll add AZW to the list of known formats !

Wow, thanks David. I didn't expect a response this quick. What a beautiful world I am living in.
![]() Alas, I spoke too hastily. When I talked about AZW, I tested the setting with my PC web browser and not with my Kindle. When I finally did test it with my Kindle I found one more obstacle. Kindle claims to have some basic support for JavaScript, but this isn’t the case with the scripts in calibre2opds-generated catalogue. I just tested Dropbox+calibre2opds+Kindle2 with my 300-book-loaded calibre. The catalogue looked quite nice on the Kindle. However because Kindle's basic web browser can't process java-scripted download links, I couldn’t download anything. When I click on the link the page just reloads, nothing else. It would be really nice to have some options to control availability of JavaScript in download link. Ex) when you set the option, download links are listed as text. Maybe there is more elegant way to handle this; I don’t really know this kind of things. Please give it a thought. And my thanks again. PS. I forgot to mention that there are three known Kindle file extensions. TPZ is Amazon's Topaz format. AZW1 is another name for Topaz format, and of course, AZW. Okay, thanks for the heads-up ; we'll try to find a way of publishing a HTML catalog without Javascript (optionnally)...

Thanks for reporting this bug !
It looks like the program has problems creating the XML file containing the list of books for a specific tag ; what options are you using ? On which system do you run it ? Are you using the new "filename cyphering" mechanism ? The new "filter by tag" option ? I'd like to know the maximum possible number of details about your configuration, so I can fix it... Maybe if I could also examine your metadata.db file, it would prolly help... Does anyone else have the same problem ? Or other problems, FWIW ? All best, David. I'm using Windows 7 32 bit.
If you'd like my metadata.db file, I'll be glad to email it. What address is best? Here are my options: ![]() |

And for what it's worth, I like the new option for list of tags that will generate a catalog. Maybe for the next version, a list of tags that will be ignored? I only have a few tags that I'd rather not have in the catalog, and many that I would.

Hi, and thanks for posting your options ; I think I may have isolated the problem, but to be sure I'd like to get your metadata.db file so I can test my bug fix on it.
The easiest way to help me is to send a private message with your Dropbox URL to the metadata.db file (if you use Dropbox) ; this way, I can also access the ebook files if this is needed. I'll keep that private, don't worry ![]() |

The next release will also have (or it should) a special Kindle mode (generating HTML catalogs with no Javascript), a special Nook mode (to integrate fully with Trook, and get all your Calibre library on the Nook). I hope to release it soon enough ![]() |

@ki5ck:
There was a bug in this release, and a re-released it with a correction patch. Simply redownload the new version (it has the same release number) and try again. Tell me if it doesn't work ! |
