Not just one. There's an other that pee's all day. Definitely an ode to their fine beers...

You got me thinking about our "most famous" person: The boy who put his finger in the dike... Turns out, he's made up by an American author... Just downloaded the book, now I need to put it on my reader and read the story

I was raised that the man pays, and it makes me feel uncomfortable not to pay. I like it when a girl offers to pay, but I feel paying for a date is my responsibility. I've had girlfriends that have paid for a date when they have invited me, and although I always accepted graciously, I'd still prefer to pay.

I probably paid for 9 out of 10 dates with the last girl I was dating. However, she cooked 9 out 10 meals that we had at home. (I don't cook very well, unless you want tacos.)

Their was a logical reason for men to pay for dates when the normal situation was that men worked, but women didn't. Now that women are just as likely to work as men, for it to be assumed that the man will pay seems to me to be nothing other than a form of sexism.

Maybe it is, but for better or worse it's the way I feel, and the way I was raised -- by my strong willed mother.

I still open doors for women even though I know they are perfectly capable of doing it themselves. When walking along the sidewalk I take the side closest to road so that I'll get splashed or ran over first. When on public transportation I will still give my seat up to a lady. If I were on a sinking ship I'd let the women and children go first. I suppose this makes me a sexist.

Don't care.

Whoever picks the restaurant pays.

And if she's a vegetarian, I'm pickin' BBQ!

What have you got against the UK? Anyway, isn't about half of Texas under 30. Degrees North that is.

If that was universal, I wonder what that would do to the human population, and the restaurant trade (not necessarily in that order)? And why is a scene in The Grand Ticino from Moonstruck going through my mind.
