If its the first dedicated reader device you have, it doesn't matter whether its a K2 or K1.

1. Follow the link that Geoff has posted.
2.Then go to Steve's website, click on the Mobipocket option.
3. Pay with Paypal.
4. Fill out the info he asks for.
5. Go to your email, click on the link he sends you.
6. Download the mobi to your computer.
7. Plug in the Kindle.
8. Move the lens.prc file to the Kindle.
9. Read.
10. Come back here for any questions.
11. Get sucked into the lounge and all the sillness there and never be heard from again in the ooutside world.

Quite simple.
