You don't know what you're talking about. The artists are very much aware but there is little they can do about it because record label contracts.

This wall of sound is garbage and needs to go away. The artists need to go on strike to get it sorted.

despite - and maybe - having been not the best person in the Wolrd, Spector's Wall of Sound wasn't that bad .

I to hear the remixed version of this album. I recently listened to an interview with Johnny's wife and apparently, Spector has signed off on finally allowing the album to be remixed. In his contract with the band, they had to agree to never remixing the album. But apparently, his stance has softened on this clause. According to Linda, all of the band's tracks are still there and available on the tapes. So a true remix is possible. I really hope that this project comes out. She kept stressing that, 'Johnny's guitar is there'...as well all of the other guy's stuff too. So even though Spector had session guys redo essentially everything, he kept the band's original performances. As for the official version that was put out,...I view that as a Joey solo album..produced by Phil Spector. But a true remix would be incredible. I hope that it sounds like polished versions of these demos that we all love. Even if you don't dig 'End of the Century'. You have to admit that the songs were there. The songs were incredible. It is just that Spector, 'un-Ramones', a Ramones album.
