Something to do with Thanksgiving. Why does it have to be a Thursday? The movie "Holiday Inn" puzzled me when I first saw the turkey hopping about on the calender. I was also surprised to discover recently that while the turkey came to Europe from America, it was bred bigger in Norfolk, England and the Pilgrim Fathers (I presume there were Mothers) ate turkeys they had brought from England. |

The 7" and 7.8" are closest to a pocket-book/mass-market paperback. The 6" is way poorer and the Basic 167 dpi 6" was only good when there was nothing better! |

Not everyone uses KOReader, you know. Even the tinkerers. I installed it on my Kobo, just from curiosity. But I don't use it. For me it has no advantages over the default reader (granted, with patches).

I have KOreader on a Boyue likebook. Aldiko Basic on ancient android LCDs and Lithium on newer Android LCDs. Xodo for PDF on 10" tablet and stock reader for PDF on the Boyue likebook (7.8").
I don't feel the need to change the reader on the Kobos, Sony PRS350 or the KK3 or Kindle PW3. The biggest issue on the Kindle is lack of ability to manage with Calibre and the in-built GUI. I've not even bothered patching my Kobos. I preferred older GUIs to newer ones on Kindle and Kobo. Both are copying the worst ideas of Android. |

![]() Otherwise, I'm thinking of canceling my preorder. I'm curious to see if they improved the screen contrast / sharpness, but I don't really need a new reader. ![]() |

Having owned 6" readers and now owning a 6.8" Reader, it is definitely worth it for the larger screen. Makes 6" seem small. |

You are certainly going to be able to notice that change while reading. It may not be valuable enough for everyone to want an immediate upgrade but that's down to personal preference. It will be noticeable and appreciated by almost everyone and will be a huge quality of life improvement for anyone anyone who needs larger fonts. Going up to a 7.8" device (Kobo Aura One, I think) would be a 78% increase in screen area. |

Actually it's pretty significant. I've got one 6.8" reader (an old Kobo Aura HD) and one 7.8" reader (a Tolino Epos) and the 6.8" screen seems like a good compromise. 7.8" is quite a bit too big for me but 6.8" isn't. If PocketBook put out a 6.8" reader I would probably buy it. I think it's interesting that Kindle has moved their Paperwhite line up to that. But I'm not in the market for another Kindle, I don't use them that much as (for me) the font rendering seems better in the PocketBook and Tolino. I'll stick with the Voyage for my Kindle

As someone who went from a 6-inch Clara to a 6.8 inch H2O2 I agree, it's a much bigger jump in usable screen size than "0.8" suggests. Especially when the form factor remains the same, the end result is a very noticeable jump in screensize for a very minimal loss of portability or even pocketability. |

The Forma was the same, I loved it, but, had to hand it over quickly. I was using the Aura ONE for a while, but tended to use the Glo HD for the convenience. I'm now splitting reading time between the Clara HD and Libra H2O. I keep thinking about a Forma, but, the cost is high and I keep thinking a new device will be here soon. What I think is that the 6.8"/7" devices don't give me enough extra screen space to make up for the extra bulk. I can hold the 6" devices in one hand and turn the page with that hand. The 7.8"/8" do make it worthwhile. Both that Kobo have produced are sleek and relatively light. I can use them Forma one-handed and didn't have any hassles with the Aura ONE. As to the Libra H2O, I think the buttons are why I am still using it. I like them, but, not enough to make up for the physical size and completely abandon the Clara HD. |

Having owned multiple 6" and multiple larger screens, the larger screens did nothing for me; all the larger ones were passed on to a family member.
