Such a severe case of reader's block, but there are worse things that can happen.

I mean to read only 52 books this year as I'm aiming to reread a lot after I've met my quota.

The only reader's block I have is the three kids in my avatar picture that contribute to my lack of time.

I normally can only read on my commute but my commute has been reduced to walking 6 FT from my bedroom to my office due to Covid-19. Not enough time to read in that walk. Certainly, i'm not bad off overall, enjoying more time at home. It's just that my reading goal is one of the things that is being put by the wayside.

Glad to hear that. There are many things more important than reading, even for me. So I can relate.

After reading no books in February, I was 6 books behind in my goodreads challenge. But now I'm 4 books ahead. I must make the most of this lockdown, because later I won't have enough time.

Nearly the end of April. Have reached my April goal of more than 3,000 pages (actually over 5,000 now). Completed one of 4 series (Chronicles of St Mary's) and now on Dresden Files again (Small Favor) - these are all audiobooks. In the Shannara world, I completed the eread of Voyage of Jerle Shannara, which is the only trilogy not in unabridged audiobook form. I will start the next trilogy in mid-May as publication of the final book has now moved to October. Plenty of time. In the meantime, my ereader is focused on magazines as I haven't finished a single one yet and I had a goal of 10 fewer in TBR this year.

While number of books was not part of my challenge this year, I've completed 55 of them as well as 35 novellas and short stories. Soon though, I will be reading less and watching more Netflix, Acorn and Britbox. I pay for these services for my Mom and should get some mileage out of them. I only just finished Season 6 of NCIS!

PTBR Reduction: Reduced by -14 - 10% of my goal - Way off target - my wife has been buying a few books a week from our local independent bookstore to support them while they are closed due to Covid-19. Good reason to be behind here.

Overall TBR Reduction - 4 - did not have a goal here, and this number took a big hit due to our paper book-buying right now.

I was a bit behind schedule back in February but now I'm 6 books ahead, all thanks to a stupid nasty virus that has me stuck in my apartment most of the time. Boo, Covid-19!

Goals to date: Read 3 non-fiction books -- 2 down, 1 to go.

Read at least 3 classics -- done (Solar Pons, The Prophet and
Judge Dee). Will probably read more before I'm done.

Finish the Miss Marple series I started last year -- only 1
book read so far; I got side-tracked first by Poirot and then
Judge Dee which I am trying to track down The Chinese Gold
Murders, but the Kindle version is no longer available and I
can't read the paperback so no use buying it. Oh well, maybe
someday it'll come back. I hope.

Borrow more books instead of buying -- only 9 of the 23 read
so far have been Kindle Unlimited and library loans. A couple
were freebies and fan fiction but lately I've been bingeing at
Smashwords because my favorite MM romance/mysteries
are all on sale at prices too good to pass up even with the
currency exchange. :sigh: My huge TBR pile will someday get
smaller but today is not that day. Not even this year!

I'm 6 books ahead in my reading challenge. But I haven't read yesterday and today. Reader's slump. I had too many low rated books recently.

I'm months behind updating mine, back in February. I went through a dry spell reading and things have been so chaotic, but will start updating soon, hopefully this week in between a thousand other things.
