Does this update block the initial factory image downgrade method?

My Kindle Oasis still comes with firmware 5.7.4 from April 2016. When I connect to Amazon server via Wi-Fi, the "update your kindle" option is still greyed out. Why?

The signal strength is full bars and I have the same problem when trying to update from a public library and from my house. The Kindle Store is working but I can't update the firmware

Download and install it manually.

My Jailbreak didn't survive the upgrade from 5.4.3.2.
Anyway, now I'm back again to original firmware with jailbreak an cover screensaver. I guess I'll stick to it as I don't see anything better on the new firmware.

Hi everyone, I'm french so please excuses me if my english is not good

My device is a kindle paperwhite manga model (available in Japan only), but I think this device is as a usual kindle paperwhite model, the main difference is about the storage (I have 32 GB of storage).

I can't use the fast scrolling function, and the zoom without let my finger on the screen, then select the "zoom option" and then move in opposite direction 2 fingers
=> I cannot do what the guy do in this video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zuVuBkEC_F4 ) with manga that came from my computer.

So I begin to think about the jailbreak solution (I read that some of yours can use all theses mangas founction with the jailbreak).

When I downloaded free extracts of mangas from amazon.jp's store, all theses founction are available ! but when I add my own mangas from my computer to my kindle device, it doesn't works

I use Calibre to convert my mangas, and I tried a lot of extension (I tried the .KFX, .MOBI) and now I use the .AZW3 .

Please help me ..

For the moment you can't create KFX files that support these features.
