Amazon should rename it PrimeCrapDay. Worst effing sale ever! No way this is bigger than Black Friday. Bezos has stooped to lower than a snake's belly with this over-hyped, BS sale. I've seen better deals at a junk yard.

The sale on the extended Lord of the Rings blu rays is nice. But why do I have a feeling that come Christmas there will be a new super-deluxe box set with the extended versions of all six movies?

At any rate, I didn't see any deals on the Voyage and it doesn't look like there's a deal on it coming up. Looks like I'll be skipping this event.

You have to use an Amazon Rewards Visa card as your payment method for $100 or more in merchandise, then enter the code PRI20ARC. It doesn't work for everything. If you have more than one item, you have to have the same shipping speed checked for everything.

The $5 no-rush credit shows up at checkout if available--it's instead of the usual $1 credit for digital content. And the credit is only applicable to certain departments.

I don't think it is more deals than Black Friday. I think this is far less, hence my complaint. BTW, I'm not alone in my disgust over this sale, just look at all the irate customer tweets!!!

I hope Amazon is happy with the select few Prime members they made happy today vs the many that got royally ticked off over this so-called super sale.

Amazon will be pleased to know that monkey has spent a whopping $0.00 so far and the way things are looking, my wallet should still be intact by the end of the day.

Except for the "select" customers that were able to get it for $69, $49 or $29 last week (depending on the offer they got).
