Wow. No dice at that price!

I'll pick up a gold box deal refurb in a year for a more appropriate price.

I like it. I'm pleasantly surprised because I had thought that Amazon would only perhaps give a small specs bump to the Paperwhite. The upgraded resolution is something that is a substantial upgrade (although not very useful to everyone) and I like the Pagepress "buttons." Also Word Wise and Family Library have a lot of potential, I think. I don't think I'll be getting it this year, as I'm very satisfied with my Paperwhite 2, but sometime in the future I may consider its successor.

(Now I wonder what B&N is going to do in response.)

I still think Kobo did one better with the 6.8" screen. I know the DPI is not the same, but there's a point where it just doesn't matter.

I like it, but not at $200. I might get it when it goes on sale, but this isn't enough of an upgrade from my 2nd gen Paperwhite to justify the expense.

After more digging in the Help, apparently the Deferred Payment is the one I was offered earlier but never took. I guess it was silently waiting for me to eventually buy another Kindle. It rolled a crit on Surprise.

I pre-ordered one. My mother has been eyeing my paperwhite anyhow, so i'll just offload it. The price is... well, high. When you go 3g, factor in a cover, it's over $350. Ouch.
But... it releases a week after my bday. I almost feel guilt-free. Almost.

I just pre-ordered a Voyage. I ordered no Special Offers and no cover. I'll have to figure out a cover later.

That Origami cover seems like a gimmick to me. The only way I'd ever use it, is if I could load my own screen savers. And, besides, I like my covers to open like a book.

This thing could well arrive ON my birthday!

I have the Amazon sleeve that was offered when the Touch was released. It also fit the Paperwhite, and according to the product page, the Voyage is just slightly smaller than the Paperwhite. I'll re-use the sleeve I have since the Voyage will fit and I don't really care to have the Kindle in a case while I read.

Am I correct in thinking that has less battery life than previous models? Also ads and not even a plug?
I think everyone but serious e-ink enthusiasts will balk at that price. Out of my range for an e-ink device.
