Just wanted to add re: the poor reviews on Goodreads, this book was much more like her older Silhouette Desire books and not like her Psy/Changeling series. So I can understand her paranormal romance fans not liking it.

There were a lot of sex scenes and the h/h jump into bed less than an hour after they meet.

I don't read the Guild Hunter series so I can't comment on how it compares, but I'm under the impression that is more of an urban fantasy series, so again this book is very different. I think the second half was much stronger than the first half, so even if you start out not liking it you may end up doing so.

Yes. I think the price will be going up though. I thought I'd read the $3.99 was for the first week only. Not sure what the "normal" price will be.

I bought it at Kobo with a 35% coupon. It's a sad day that I was like only 35%

I think everyone is use to her complex writing style so when she writes a normal NA type book people were expecting it to follow that pattern. I think it's great she is so versatile in her writing. I am getting it through Lending as I want to read it.

I now have 2 versions of Eden Creek. I got the first on the 9th and that book link goes to does not exist page, I got the new link today and now there are 2. Here is what is interesting, I can add a whispersync audiobook for $1.99 on the now defunct linked one, but not on the new one. At least that is what it says in my account. But when I click on the new linked one, it still tells me I can add it. I thought maybe they wanted to break the discounted audiobook link.

I have heard some authors grumbling about and are going out of their way breaking the whispersync so the audio book can't be sold for a discount if one owns the ebook. Crossed my mind that maybe this publisher was trying to do that, but doesn't seem to be the case.

Just some hickup I guess. I'll have to delete one of the versions though, don't need the same book in my account twice.
