ghuy'cha'
A Klingon curse, that one presumably must be Klingon to completely understand. While versatile, I doubt one could return a radio and exclaim "The ghuy'cha'ers ghuy'cha'ing ghuy'cha'ed!" But it is possible, if one knew the proper conjugation. Last edited by Donnageddon; 05-12-2008 at 07:32 PM. Reason: idiocy |

A Challenge
"Charp", as many here are no doubt already aware, is the one small mutant green potato chip in a bag of chips.
I suggest that we mozzle nouns for the following potato-related food items: 1. The longest french fry in the bunch 2. The short, crisp, sharp, stubby fries that look like jailhouse shanks 3. The fries that escape the cartons and mingle in greasy limbo, the no-man's land of the bag Winning entries will be decided by the [U.S.] committee meeting in conclave. You know who you are. P.S. I'm just wondering if 'shank' is an English-only word. Do other languages have a word specifically for stabbing weapons fashioned by inmates out of everyday materials? I like the word "knurd," which means going all the way on through to the other side of sober from drunk. It is a state where you see the world completely clearly and without any filters whatsoever. Many drunks suffer from chronic knurdeness and therefore have to drink to stay sober. They just get the dosage all wrong.

perhaps mj was right before.
i feel unqualified for the potato-related word mozzling exercise, since i don't like chips very much and almost never eat them, and eat fries rarely as well and when i do they don't come in a bag. |

So does French have an equivalent to "shank"? I guess my frie-specific terms will have to come from fellow McMericans.
