How can i set the current book cover as screensaver? I deleted all pictures from the "sleep" directory, now the screen turns white when i am in sleep/screensaver mode.

For now it's impossible. But it is planned.

wow, that would be a great feature. would the book cover have to be a seperate file, because in most books i own the book cover is the first page of the book.

As a fan of Coolreader on Android devices (the NSTG being my primary ereader), I just tried this package out and had to say that this one is the one I like most so far. With the configurable tap zones I can make it behave on a Kindle exactly like it does on my other devices. The addition of that current book cover as a screen saver would be the only addition I'd like, so I'm looking forward to that in a future version.

That could probably be done similar to the way it works on the Nook Simple Touch. The app creates a new folder in the screen saver area called "currentbook", and it contains a single image that was the cover of the last EPUB that the app viewed. Then in the NST screen configuration area, you can select "currentbook" as the screen saver and it's done. Any time you open a new EPUB, the screen saver is changed. Since the app supports file types without metadata and/or packaged covers, you could perhaps have it look for a file named "filename_COVER.jpg" or something when opening the file, and use that instead if there isn't an internal file to extract (and make that behavior default and supercede the attempt to extract one in case a user wants to supply their own for any book file).

Book cover has just been implemented in 2015.04. You should set it in the launcher settings and enjoy!

how does sleep cover work? does it have to be a seperate file? enabled it in settings but it didn't display book cover (first page of the book).

You might need to open a different book and then reopen what you were reading before so it can extract the cover. I don't remember for sure now what exactly had happened, but when I first installed that 2015.14 version the other day, I think that's what happened.

read 4-5 books since the update, so that shouldn't be the problem.

maybe the reason is that all my books are in mobi format?

got the "old" version of coolreader running with "cr3runner" directly from the main page, i wonder if there´s something like that for vlasovsoft??

Ok, I'll try to use cr3runner code to make my own launcher tomorrow.
